Kavinsky saw Parrish well before he spotted him, and there was a moment where he considered detouring, avoiding him and his little hound dog that was pulling at its leash to get toward him. It was only through the somewhat stubborn solace of knowing that people didn't quite recognize him in this new body, with this new face that kept Kavinsky from diverting his path and taking another way across the park. He kept his chin up instead, kept nibbling his chocolate, like he didn't see them either.

Why the hell was the very sight of Adam Parrish making him feel a bit flush, like warming up with coffee? Kavinsky looked down at the box of chocolates, suspicious but--they were really good chocolates.

Parrish's little hound dog had gotten up to him, nearly bringing him level, and Kavinsky couldn't say no to that stupidly soulful face and those big eyes. "Hey pup. Hi there."
