Kavinsky looked over at well, and just watched Jack for a moment. He wasn't sure how much of this was because Jack actually wanted to talk to him, or if it was because his coworker had made him feel like he needed to. He only knew what Poison had mentioned when they'd talked, and he wasn't sure he ought to say that he'd been kept up to date, a little.
Finally, he just settled on it, just said, "Jack, if we're having this talk 'cause you feel guilty or whatever, then we should probably wait until things smooth out a little more, right? Like--I'm not turning down the chance to try and fix this, but you were right when you said you needed to worry about Poison first."
He dug the heel of his shoe into the ground under his feet. "I want to fix this, but I don't wanna rush you about it."
